    Going into Reg Forces

If you apply for ROTP, recruiting demands that you acquire copies of your course reports from camp.

Cadets Joining the Reserves - Can it be Both?

I believe its their duty to make sure you are aware of what you are doing, that you know the dangers and risks, etc. They only want the best for you. The cadet movement and your corp has spent lots of money and effort on you, when you become a senior, you should start giving back by staying to...

Cadets Joining the Reserves - Can it be Both?

Well...there's a few ways to do this. Here's one i'm considering. If i am accepted to ROTP at a civilian university, i can stay in cadets in my free time. But i would be unable to attend Summer Training because i will be doing my officer training with the reg force. Also, even though ur not...

I'm 16 and I just joined army cadets.......

I take EXTREME offense to that quote. I am 17, and I know for a fact that cadets is a great organization. I swear by the cadet system. If and when i have children, i hope they do it too. I can't really say much about Reserves because i dont know too much a bout it, but i think its absolutely...

    How to strip cadet boots

Do it in your shower, put it under the hottest water that comes out, and give it a good brushing with a toothbrush or ur boot brush. The rubber sole is pretty tough, its resistant to alotta wear and tear, including heat.

    After Cadets

Its my last year as a cadet and also my last year in high school. Even though i'm not aging out yet, i've decided i'd be more useful if i joined the CF. I'm in the process of applying to RMC under the Reg officer training plan.

    Becoming a Sniper (merged)

I understand your interest in the CF sniper program, trust me, i do, but to tell people to keep their beef to themselves is a bit too much, especially since you're just a cadet private. I'm the captain of my cadet corps rifle team, and even i know that i have to be humble. As for the entering...

    Junk Food In Schools

I think taking all junk food is an excellent idea. I always discourage my cadets from pop and junk. When i was at camp doing D&C this summer, our WO would give chits if we had coke in our hand on lines during trg hours. I think that was great.
