    North Korea (Superthread)

Anybody else see the resemblance between this: And that: Now it seems like the NK Military has a uniformity problem; the generals are wearing 2 different styles of caps. Personally, I would prefer the goofy one standing behind Kim Shlong Swill to be the standard (for NK Generals).

I like the idea, but December has unit activities and silly week, and January is preps for winter ex... and COs want their people around. They only command for 2 years, and they want to make the most of them !! Every change of command ceremony is the same: "I know you've been busy, but the next...

Yeah... unfortunately, bow ties and the colour of stripes on pants are more important then weapon handling for far too many people in the CAF.

I'm sure there are still doubters out there; so here's definite proof. A picture of uncloaked batteries in the bottom compartment, against cloaked batteries in the top one: What other proof do you need ??

I'm surprised they have equipment loads at higher altitude then jumpers... I hear the Army may have new plans for the LIBs (again), including the PPF capability, anyone involved in that ?

Ultimate Soldier Challenge - USMC Force Recon vs Canadian Light Infantry

I watched the beginning... looks like a regular "mil skills" type competition; doesn't seem to be anything "ultimate" about it...

Air Force Fleece in an Army unit.

I agree... and I have seen Army Sgts-Maj lose their minds over the fleece. What a lot of people forget is that the combat uniform is operational clothing, not a fashion statement. How it looks is nowhere near as important as how it performs. DEU is another matter.
