Do not pick new trades for the sake of getting in faster. Pick something you want to do and will be happy with doing for 10-20 years. Applying to the CF takes 6 months to over 3 years. If you want it badly you will wait.

Calls usually go out for 2-3 weeks after the selection date. Most RC's do not get the list of offers for a minimum 3-5 days after the actually selection date. Really not that uncommon..

Thanks guys, I was told by my recruiter not to worry about the fact that I missed the date, as they usually do top ups after the selection board meets. Lets see how this pans out..
Yes, I know of a few people who had 0 aviation experience who passed through the selection process. They are not looking for Maverick or Iceman in the simulator. Just listen to instructions and give it your best shot.
