On July 12, the career councilor at my CFRC told me that one the the trades I applied for (Construction Technician) only had 3 spots available across the country and that he highly recommended that I swap it out for another trade.

Is it mainly cost reasons that we aren't considering purchasing new/used nuclear submarines?

Thanks for the information and comments everyone.  Yes I kind of do want to know how to plan my life, its hard not knowing but I'm working through it.  If I don't get offered a position this year I will take a promotion at work until I do get in.  I don't want to take a position with my company...

Anyone know if CFLRS has any BMQ courses scheduled after July 15?  By that I mean typically do they run courses after July 15 or wait until fall to start it up again??

All you have to do to change choices is email either the CFRC where your file is, or if it hasn't been sent to a detachment yet, you would email the Canadian Forces Virtual Recruiting Centre.  And ask them to change your trade choices for you. They will consider all choices that you have...

Yeah ForeverLearning, submit copies of any certificates or transcripts you have. When you get to the RC you will have to bring the originals for verification.

There is a section in the online resume that allows you to enter any "other" qualifications that you have. I was able to put in my first aid certificate for instance among some other training documents I have.

I just wrote the CFAT today and I did better than expected.  Being out of high school for 10 years kind of worried me but I did fine.  ;D
