Changing your application / Looking at all options

Hi everyone,

I've recently applied for (1) Pilot, (2) Aerospace Engineering Officer and (3) ACSO (for starting May next year). I come from France, so I applied early to give some time for the paperwork to be done. Having gone through the forums, I learned that some files don't even get reviewed because job openings constantly change and I was wondering if it were possible for me to change my current choices. For example, I noticed Infantry Officer isn't currently being offered but might be in a few months and I would consider applying for that too. Since I don't have perfect vision and am in the process of getting LASIK, the end-result may not be enough and right off the bat, I might know that I don't qualify for my first option, but do I get to replace it with another trade?

Also, I was wondering, do they consider all of my choices even if I qualify for more than 1, or do they treat them in the order I gave them?

All you have to do to change choices is email either the CFRC where your file is, or if it hasn't been sent to a detachment yet, you would email the Canadian Forces Virtual Recruiting Centre.  And ask them to change your trade choices for you.

They will consider all choices that you have listed, and if you do not qualify for your three trades, you can change your choices at that point too.
