Nope - the chain of command (I worked at a Cadet Camp) was aware, but that treatment was being sought. to Come out and say what it was was quite.....odd.
They think I'm a danger to my cadets apparently - and thus can't be the supervising officer until I get a medical (fair enough) and prove...
Interesting - I got a letter saying "concerns have been raised about x offr, due to x and x" (naming actual medical issues). I'm very suprized that that was able to be put in a letter - it doesn't come from an MO, the only medical involvement is a CWO PA, especially given the confidential nature...
Recently I received a letter from the Regional CO that was CC'd to various folk, however, I was concerned with the amount of medical information disclosed in the letter. I'm wondering if there is something out there that gives guidelines to what information is disclosed to CO's and the chain of...
The author taught me first year english in university - I just ordered the book. I went to go sign it out of the library, but there was a looong hold list.
Success - my sword knot now does not look look a) like a senior officers (no idea, learn something new every day) and b) like crap :)
Now if only Canada Post would get back to work so I could get my belt...
Sorry, I guess I wasnt clear ..... Was at the mess too long :) I am asking how to tie it on the sword, as mine turned out not so good when I tried. Thanks for the instructions - ill try that :)
Can anyone provide direction on how to tie a sword knot (gold, infantry sword), or a good picture of one up close - I saw one from the 2 PPCLI COC parade, which I tried to emulate.....but it didn't look too pretty.
I'm going to jump out of my lane here, but let me give my .02 cents as the ex-CFPSA worker.
First off - we didn't work for timmies, we worked for CFPSA/CFPFSS or whatever today's name is. We were all NPF folks - that includes gym people, the other retail outlets, the people that got the stuff...
Took a while for this to get here ;)
Apparently there is a piece of the puzzle which is missing, between this volunteer (he was a volunteer), his screening (a VSS would have caught his pardonned conviction) and the officer who was given the run-around for bringing this up.
That being said...
Wondering if anyone out there would be able to post/send me the marpacord for 'personal appearance'? I have a 60 day hair growing period (its just past the collar) but am out and about working at the airport. I seem to recall reading in there about how if you were granted this, you would not be...
I've looked at this thread (http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/26465.0/all.html) and a few others, thinking this may be the best place to ask.
I'm wondering if there is a specific "Social Work Recruiter contact" (like there is for the Medical Officer recruitment, etc) - and how I would find...
You will need to sub-component transfer to COATS and an OT to CIC.........a PLAR will be done and you will have to do a CFRC suitability interview. From what I understand you will have to 'release' to COATS-IL and then will be hired from there to a CIC position at a corps. Your milage may vary...
I live in Victoria and work in Esquimalt. I think the PLD is around 900 - the correct number to be found in Max's link (I don't get PLD, so aren't sure of the specifics).
Appartments run from 650 - 750 for a one bedroom (depending on location) not including utilities and about 850 + for a 2...
From my wee thoughts about trying to OT/CT (spent the last year working with RCSU's PA dept, and loving it), I was told there was 6 positions this past year, only one of which was DEO and it is not likely to be open in April. However - given the current situation I'll definately be going back to...
