No seems about it, I was in Gagetown this summer at the Infantry School on PAT platoon, they had us playing SWAT for hours at a time, working with very, very early parts of this mod. Can't wait to see the end result.

Those who badmouth RMC are those who have had bad experiences with the College. I have been in the RMC ROTP program for 4 years now and while I do have some gripes about the program which I will not air here, I will say it has been an excellent experience. I am a third year cadet at the moment...

Erm, Fred, Billy Bishop left RMC before graduating for one, and for two, RMC didn't offer degrees at that time. lol. Didn't you learn ANYTHING during FYOP? ;D

I just had to write my first 6 PDRs ever a couple weeks back and as the others have said, don't sweat it. Use the brag sheet, use what you saw of the person and put together what you feel is an accurate assessment of the individual. Thats all you can do, really.

inferno, I'm going to assume you weren't in Gagetown because in the swamps of Gagetown, EVERYONE'S boots get flooded, no exceptions  ;D. Mind you, i do like having dry boots. lol

Des, pretty much what we're told is to trust our NCOs. Esentially, the thought now is that officers are part of the team and as such, we need to be able to rely on the technical expertise and experience of our subordinates. That is not to say, however, that there are not still some holdovers...

Cloth band is more comfortable and the beret is smaller so that, when properly formed, it doesn't hang down over half your ear.

I think they probably mean self-propelled weapon or vehicle mounted weapon. But you're right, they should clarify these things.

As well CURT, might I make a suggestion that you put C/Sgt as your rank instead of simply Sgt? This isn't CW forums and there are real sargeants on this site. Just makes things easier if you clearly identify yourself as a cadet sargeant.

I'm an English major at RMC and I'm in the artillery... No real big deal I don't think.

Dial-up is what I use... when I am on my laptop and have no other way onto the net. Thank God for cellphones and laptops. lol

jdmoney: you get issued your kit, however you may wish to suplement said kit with more suitable equipment if the situation dictates.
