    CANFORGEN on Pay and PIL

Your pension is not subtracted from your EI as it is not considered to be employment income, take this from one of the evil double dippers, at least here, can't say for certain from other provinces.

    forced retirement

The current Compulsory Retirement Age (CRA) in the Regular Force is 60, although this was raised from 55 in the last year or two. I have heard rumors of instances when personnel are retained past CRA although I do not have any proof of the matter so I would take that with a grain of salt.

Future of Government Pensions (PS, CF & RCMP) & CF pension "double-dip"

Future of Government Pensions (PS, CF & RCMP) & CF pension "double-dip"

I am currently one of those evil "Double Dippers" (I really dislike that term). I am not sure what the problem is with being an annuitant and filling a Cl B position lies. Applied?

I enjoy these forums, although it is sometimes hard not to take some offhand remarks as malicious. Is the army for me?

You are correct your pay would start at increment level 1 on each anniversary of your swearing in you move to the next increment level of pay until capped at your rank level. Promotion to corporal is not always a given but it is unusual to see it delayed. Some occupations have circumstances that...
