You eased my mind a bit. From all the videos I watched and threads I've read, I got the impression that if you were injured to the point where it could take a couple years to heal that you may be discharged. If what you are saying is true, the Forces would still keep you on?

You don't get better chances the longer your application is in there. Every time someone with a grade 12 education or better grades than you on the testing you get bumped.

I think you meant 2013 merit listed in your signature not 2012. Just saying  ;D

If I get discharged for an injury that would never heal they would not be covering my benefits any more.

Thanks for the input. How long did you have to wait before the course started and do you know what times of year the courses start? I'm done basic or hope to be done basic in May.

I got my package on Friday and they said my Approximate take home would be $1411 and I'm single.

Thanks for all the tips. I would want to try to get out West so I can be closer to my son and parents. I have no problem being posted to other locations, it's just a bit harder to come home for the holidays. So how long are you actually in school and on the job training before you get posted...
