I just got off the phone with the file manager. He said there was a selection a couple days ago for ACISS and RMS and he said that "if" I were to get selected on that selection that I should expect a call this week or the next. He also said the aptitude scores does not really matter in terms of...
If I keep in contact with my recruiter, would that give me a higher chance of getting selected?
In my opinion, I dont think so, but what do you guys think?
I applied in August 2011 and they started processing my application in Feb 2012. Now I am merit listed ;D. I actually called my recruiter multiple times to follow up on my application from Aug 2011 to Feb 2012.
I heard you have to re-apply online in the Canadian Forces website. And there is an option I think where you can choose from that label you as a "skilled" (previous CF experience) applicant.
Not yet. Still in Toronto haha. I think its because I have previous experience that relates to one of the trades I applied for or maybe because I bug them to often for an update about my application lol
Oh never knew that lol. I think I'm ready for my interview I've practiced and watch the videos on the website many times that I can play it in my head. Also, I went over on this interview practice questionnaire: http://www.armee.forces.gc.ca/34gbc/entrevueen.pdf
The reason why I asked is because I am trying to do research to what an ACISS does for my upcoming interview. I already read what they do as per the videos and PDF's available on the Canadian Forces website.
Any tips for the interview?
Thanks!
Hows life as an ACISS? Whats your typical day like? How do you like your posting? How often are you out of the country for training? What do you like the most about the trade? What do you like the least?
