Why don't you just call the recruiting center?

Why do you have to call every second day? Do they not have a date to set up your PT? Why don't you just book a date and then you can relax...Don't even think about trying to get in for a certain date. Just sit back and enjoy a nice long wait.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse served the best steak I have ever had. However, I've only been there once as it requires very deep pockets.

6 months to 1 year is probably average. Just don't sit on the edge of your seat waiting for them to get back to you. Its way to painful.

Well I'm finally merit listed and soon I'll be a Combat Engineer! I went into the recruiting center about a week ago and heard my favorite line: "Two more weeks, and you should get a call." Crossing my fingers for June BMQ. Cheers

Ok, so its about the same. Why don't more people want to be Combat Engineers? Are there different recruiting requirements to be a Combat Engineer? Are the CFAT score requirements the same across the Combat Arms? It seems there is a shortage of engineers.... why? cheers
