your CoC will be given a copy of your scoring sheet (how you scored for CFAT, interview, etc - the document that was sent to the board).
Your CoC is not supposed to show this document to you, but you could still ask (like under the table)... if your CoC won't let you peek I think you can...
The military doesn’t seem to give SLT to everyone so you might have to take French classes at university if you want to learn French. Only RMC students require SLT and people who’s trade course is in their second language, ie a French pilot will be given SLT in order to attend pilot...
I doubt that you could compete for utpncm as it is a program for ncms, not officers (you’d be a 2lt).
Maybe they would let you switch to another ceotp trade (there are only 3 or 4 this year) but that would mean you have to do the “real” coetp program which is university on your own time (ie...
Is it for Seneca or is it just the “regular” CEOTP?
Edit. Answering my own question. Yes it’s for Seneca.
I say go for it, but if you fail pilot training there might be extra problems as you will only have one year of school done (as opposed to utpncm who would have a degree) I’m not sure...
Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I have not seen a CEOTP solicitation message in the last few years (maybe 5 years?). If you say there is a solicitation message for CEOTP for pilot I'll take your word for it, but I haven't seen one recently.
** and that friend I mentioned, he tried to get into the...
Yes a Seneca pilot gets wings much sooner.
Idk if Seneca is easier than say, basket weaving at some university.
There are only so many positions, so not everyone can do it, also you have to be medically fit, pass selection, and be selected.
The current post ROTP/UTPNCM wait time for phase...
+1
Would full mobilization really be done just by cell phone? Why not utilize radio, television, email, have the MP's go door to door to notify people, etc. Cell phones aren't the only form of communication.
To be honest "War From the Ground Up" is a little over my head at points, but it has definitely blown my mind. I'll have to check out Strachan's book sometime.
I have no idea what you're talking about, but if it was not your fault I would submit a grievance. If it was your fault, reapply next year and get all prerequisite completed on time.
They called it a 'blast test'. Apparently it was to see if the pressure from the gun would damage the ship. I read somewhere that it damaged the bridge windows, but I can't find the article any more.
I sailed in the EJNAR MIKKELSEN for about 12 hours back in summer 2011 (I think). It didn't have a fire control radar then either for some reason. Also, reference the 18 person crew, they were all very, very tired and they told me that 18 sailors was just enough to keep doing what they do...
I'm wondering if the Scanter 4100 radar can control the 76mm in a track-while-scan / splash spotting mode (like the Sea Giraffe with the 57mm)?
Also, I've seen photos of the Knud Rasmussen class fitted with a Saab CEROS fire control radar, so it can have a fire control radar.
It is a bit ironic but that the military forces members to belong to a mess and to go to mess dinners and then everyone feigns outrage when people get drunk and behave like drunks.
It seems like you can’t have a mess dinner without a charge parade the next week.
Exactly. CL's argument is that this person chooses to attend extra events at their own expense because he sees a benefit to his career. This is obviously not the case with Military members being forced to attend events at their own expense.
It's a poor argument.
Agree 100% I love going to...
