Im looking to buy a metal intelligence cap badge.  Im not even sure they exist to be quite honest as all i've ever seen are the cloth ones.  If anyone has a metal capbadge they'd be willing to offload, please let me know.

Not much else to say here.  This was an absolutely awesome time!!!!!  The bands all kicked serious ass and my wife and I truely had a great time!  RHFC_Piper and the rest of the unit truely know how to put on social functions for the troops, some other units could learn a few things from this...

and from a distance??...............whats more distinguishable, a brassard in your arm or an actual uniform that is pretty much standard across the country? I went from wearing a brassard on my shoulder to wearing the OPD.  Believe me, the public notices the uniform, not an armband.  Armbands...

Just to jump in here late on this issue.  The reason why the Occupational Patrol Dress came out for the MP's is that quite simply, so civilians could identify the MP's from the rest of the bunch.  Any switched on troop can see a beret with the thunderbird on it and know that he/she's an MP, but...

just to correct myself here.  I thought about what's going on at our centre and I believe that its just reserve applicants that are doing fit tests at the CFRC, all reg force applicants are doing their initial fitness tests at St.Jean/Borden... sorry for the confusion.

you will do a pre fitness test at the recruiting centre.  Once your in, you'll do another one in week "0".  If you dont pass that your put in the warrior platoon, or whatever they're calling it this week to bring your fitness up to standard.
