Everything for MARS is generally done at the Naval Officer Training Centre in Esquimalt, BC.

MARS training is fairly demanding but don't sweat it too much. Work hard when you're there and the odds of you succeeding are that much higher. Also, there is a new MARS program that just started which should help with some of the issues that were occurring in the past. One of the bonuses now...

Not true. There were a number of prep years while I was there that were from other provinces. As for why one college has to wear a uniform in first year and the other does not... I believes it comes down to tradition for RMC. As for CMRSJ, I agree that it would not be wise for the cadets there...

Yep. Some guy I know was making Cpl salary while at the college and decided it would be a good idea to release after being there for three years. He quickly changed his mind after finding out it would cost him an arm and a leg... roughly 200k if I recall correctly.
