I haven't done it myself but I've looked into it for someone else and here are some of the sources that I have found. http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/pen/pa-ap/rfpb-rpfr/index-eng.asp And from the OMERS side of things...

Plus 100-150$ or so for boots. So it's probably closer to 700$.

Naval Warfare Officer [NWO] - questions

MARS training is fairly demanding but don't sweat it too much. Work hard when you're there and the odds of you succeeding are that much higher. Also, there is a new MARS program that just started which should help with some of the issues that were occurring in the past. One of the bonuses now...

    Foreign Students at RMC?

There were a few Afghan's who spent a couple of years at RMC not too long ago.

    Uniforms at CMR

Not true. There were a number of prep years while I was there that were from other provinces. As for why one college has to wear a uniform in first year and the other does not... I believes it comes down to tradition for RMC. As for CMRSJ, I agree that it would not be wise for the cadets there...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

Officer Cadet is a rank in the Canadian Forces. I'd suggest watching this video as it may help you understand exactly what ROTP is. http://cdn.forces.ca/_VIDEOS2010/ROTP_en.mp4 I would also suggest reading the Forces website a bit more.  Especially this part...

    CALGARY is now in Dockyard

Sorry. I don't feel comfortable doing it myself but perhaps someone more in tune with the security requirements of the Ops Room will put them up next week when people are back at work and able to access the DIN.

    Obligatory Service in the CAF

Yep. Some guy I know was making Cpl salary while at the college and decided it would be a good idea to release after being there for three years. He quickly changed his mind after finding out it would cost him an arm and a leg... roughly 200k if I recall correctly.

    Obligatory Service in the CAF

George, I don't think your talking about the same thing. Obligatory service in the sense they're talking about isn't the same thing as the VIE. I have a 12 year VIE but my obligatory service is only 2 months of service for every month of education (normally five years if ROTP). As a result the...
