The way it worked for me was that called the local base support unit, brought the form in with a valid prescription and then we received them a few weeks later. This was a process all initiated solely by the member. The CoC provided the initial phone number.
That being said on my SQ when some...
I'd bring everything. Some of it you won't need I.E ICE Pants/ICE Jacket, Winter gloves, Toque etc because it is summer. But on my basic we had to show that physically had every piece of kit we signed for.. I'd pack it smarter, like i'd throw all of the obvious winter stuff in the barrack box...
Eh, I'll wait for the release. Knowing EA half it will be DLC and the game will cost double the listed price...
It is cool that a game from this time period has been released. I personally wouldn't mind another WW2 shooter or a 1942 relaunch as well, but we will see...
I wouldn't, that'll depend on your staff. If they say you can, go for ir. But I'd honestly wait until after basic. Likewise does your home unit allow non issued boots?
When would a CLS A member have to submit a leave pass? Maybe my unit works differently, but I've never filled out a leave pass. (I do inform my COC via email whenever I go outside of the area for more than a day and a give as much contact information as possible in case something were to happen).
My sister had enough time doing a masters while working full time at Starbucks. I wouldn't advise it in The slightest.
The last thing I would want to on a trades course is extra work.
That being said apply now. When/if you get an offer go to your school and say "I have an employment...
This is excellent advice thanks. I should get on with networking, I have a contact within the main professional organization for my field and I'll send her an email later. After work right now I'm practicing my French and doing physical training. But yes I agree I need to network more. Likewise...
My BMQ-L (2012) was pretty go-go. 5Am - 9pm sometimes 11pm was the norm. To be honest I loved it.
As for phone calls etc. Cell Service was terrible, I'd only get two bars between two tents in 2m x 2m grid (don't ask why). So I sent emails to my ex (gf at the time) and she would receive them...
How does one do that? I currently work on mainly internal projects, in a small team and get very limited to people outside of my Team let alone organization. I am qualified in another pool already, but I don't expect to see an offer from that department.
I don't want to be that guy who is just...
When you say "How" are you saying like what to say in the interview? Put on the resume etc.
If you have secrets I'm all ears. Every time I try to fill in a gap of experience with military related experiences I always fail the question, or score poorly.
The one time i flew with military (civy charter) , they specifically talked about jet boils and how you couldn't bring them. (They referring to traffic techs) The fuel was the issue from what I recall. We flew on a civy airline but traffic techs cleared us before hand.
Funny enough, I didn't...
You will have to go "full time". For some point.
Different course vary depending on the trade.
ACISS is 2 months,
Infantry is 2 months (2 1- month modules).
It is possible to so your basic and your BMQ-L (formerly known as SQ) part time on weekends. However your DP 1.0 (formerly known as QL3)...
I wouldn't ever plan on going into a course and expecting a weekend off. If you get one great, if not it isn't the end of the world.
I personally never "lost" a weekend (Though there are several times when I felt that we as a course should have...) but on my 3's we had to work ever other...
The best would be to contact the unit specifically. I don't know the exact sequence for officers but for most Army NCM Trades Your trades training would be something like this:
Course 1: BMQ (Basic training this should be roughly 26 training days or 11 weekends),
Course 2: BMQ - L (Old name...
It is a simple 1 page form. Your name, rank, trade preference, entry plan, deu preference and posting preference and contact information.
The problem is that takes forever to be processed receive an offer because they don't really want to because now they need to replace your spot in the...
