Pushups arent a secret that only those in the military know about or do. Im sure theres a million websites or videos on youtube showing proper form. I dont think this is an acceptable excuse.

So I am wondering if one goes to college initially and later bridges to university, would that degree meet the criteria to become an officer?

Look on the forces website under veh tech and it will show you some of the available specialty training.
And yes you can do an occupational transfer down the road, but its easier said then done so make sure you actually want to be a veh tech before you join.
This reminds me of something we were told by a Sgt the day we swore in.
"if you're here for the money you'd might as well leave now, you will ake more flipping burgers
at Wendys".
Perhaps you should wait until your personal matters are sorted out before joining. The military isn't the best place to be if you cannot be away from home.

Of course you can retest and switch trades later down the road! It would be a HUGE mistake to have someone like you be just a stupid cook. Any trade would be lucky to have you! And of course you should start at as a major, rather than a stupid private.

I thought that you couldn't do part time BMQ-L courses?
Also, I think you should still contact the units before you're birthday, I know some people who have had their paperwork done before they were of age. All they can say is no.

Ya I am definately going to continue my electrical apprenticeship. However the closer I get to finishing it, the harder it will be for me to give up if I get my offer.
