Summer job... I was working in a big warehouse full of men.
Towards the end of the summer I decided to invite this nice guy on a date... it was exactly five years ago. And we are now both starting a career in the CF at the same time... many challenges to come :blotto:

I was giving him a very general answer, because I was judging by his questions that he was at the very beginning of the thinking/joining process. Any applicant will end up talking to a recruiter and get more personalized advising... you want to share more detailed info... you...
It does not matter if you are NCM or Officer.
If you join the regular force,
you will have to move to a base (with your family) and probably deploy on operations overseas, or leave for training... all this for weeks and months at a time (without your family)

I understand that they need to improve their relationship with the muslim community... and if some women police officers are willing to do that... it is fine with me. But I would not want to put a religious symbol over my head, I am bogged with the fact that women only have to cover...
