I agree, however i believe that some kind of preventative measures should be set up in order to keep the non coms in line and not abuse their power. Chap is too much, nothing is too little, they need to find a happy medium. Or maybe even teach it in a way so that there is a set standard to...
haha well i happen to be from that corps as well and we kind of have an identity crisis. We are now amalgamated with the BCRs (armoured) therefore we wear black berets our RSM has the chest rig and the BCR capbrass. BUT there is a shamrock behind the capbrass (infantry) hackel, also our SSMs...
No one is a god of catos (whatever that is) but its far better to be informed than to be ignorant and continuousely post messages about wanting to wear OD, cadetpat and cadpat slip ons etc. Its been done before use the search tab next time. If you want to wear cadpat with the cadpat slip ons...
i applaud your effort, but cadets in ODs already have brassards, you dont need slip ons. Cadets are authorised to wear the brassards like the ones your staff wear at a CSTC to identify you as a cadet, nothing else.
if you can work well with kids (which it sounds like you are great at) then you shouldnt have a problem, expect to teach them alot about map and compass and survival techniques etc.
they have all the keysfor those locks in my armoury, locked in a small case locked to the wall, locked in a room with a separate key in a separate case somewhere else, lol I never realised it before but yes, they really do like them ;D

this thread was called "what must be fixed in cadets in your opinion" That was my opinion However i think that larger bore shoots should be done with seniors only. Even if they had the money and the equiptment and the location etc, 12-14 year old kids should not...

I was flag party commander for 3 years, and you need to look up ALL the proper movements in the manuals and practice. I dont recommend using a wool blanket and hockey sticks i personally found it rather degrating but thats up to you. Meet up a half hour early every training...
