Last back door side bar I had with some of the charge hands and the CBUs is that the overall intention of the unions will be to start negotiation of new collective agreements after the election. The wait will be annoying but it will be good for two reasons of many:
1. Less political pressure...
Thanks for the thread guys, my brother had the same questions as he is facing a COR and is looking at the GeoTech trade. Hopefully he gets to keep his Cpls.
I use it for some tracking of pers in my unit, which is helpful in a small unit where I don't have an RMS clerk to run queries in HRMS and calling BOR with petty inquiries would be a nuisance.
Not sure how CFSSE DC does the ATL course out west, but I do know CFNES DC has failed pers for not meeting the standard. Something to bring up to the CFNES DC Div DCTO at the next mess function...
I miss the old diesel pit and the engine room mock up at DC Div. You couldn't mess around in there with being on air as the smoke was real, and the off switch for the engine fire was AFFF hoses. Improper door procedure? Back draft blowing up in your face fixed that problem for the next run :)
Navy side here, when my ship was designated ready duty ship, usually the order was if you were away from your normal method of contact(e.g. a landline, or had none) for 4 hours or more, you had to call in or physically report to the quartermaster and inquire if there was a status change.
Rest in peace Cpl Cirillo, and my condolences to your family. :salute:
I wish a speedy recovery to all other families affected by the tragedies over the last 48 hours.
Agree with your comment. Being observant of your surroundings is prudent and commonly is how threats are outed. I am pondering the civi dress of the day for my unit during work hours, however, another side of me says its cowardly to kick this in at this point and should stick with the...
Thoughts and prayers to the wounded and their families. Kudos and much thanks goes to the SQ for ending this idiot's spree - Good riddance.
Aside: MARLANT raised its threat level to medium last Friday -- coincidence?
It is a damn shame this STILL hasn't been sorted out yet and I hate still having to give the answer "when I know more, you will know more" to those stokers I are divisionally responsible for.
Just like the HEA issue that took Treasury Board years to sort out, this won't move any faster...
As has been said on this site in the past, your best bet for advise is to contact your MO about the chit and related admin to it. In terms of your AR/MEL disclosure pack, when it arrives, it will come addressed to your CO with direction for him/her how to disclose the file to you and subsequent...

Thanks good sir, this worked on the sub pages but not the main page. On the main page there is javasript code just before the DOCTYPE header which makes IE9 still unhappy (it has to see DOCTYPE as the first line in the code to stay out of quirks).
My first post does not make sense and I can't edit it to fix.
In quirks mode on XP/IE7 and W7/IE9 the top menu bar does NOT show up properly.
In strict mode it renders properly and works normally, using F12 to change them over to strict.
Army.ca,
Is there any possibility to modify the DOCTYPE header to "strict" vice "transitional" so DWAN stations stay out of quirks mode?
On Shiplan's IE7/XP and DSB's IE9/W7 the top menu bar shows properly without having to open their F12 developer tools and bringing it off quirks mode...
