    When you are sworn in you are a member of the CF, however untrained. You will still parade with your unit. As for going for weekend excercises, it varies from unit to unit. Also, often BMQ coarses are run during the fall, starting around October.

    BMQ for the reserves are usually run by home units. Thus, it depends on where you are for how often/where the BMQ coarses take place.

    Questions about your history and you family, as well as questions about the trade that you are applying for. Often scenarios are given as well and you are asked questions about them. Just be honest. Also, if you do a search you should be able to find quite a bit of info on the interview.

    I personally prefer the Spencos to the Dr. Scholls, the ones i have tried anyways. The spencos with the orange bottoms seem to have pretty good arch support, and if they dont fit your boots you can cut them down at the front anyways.

    If you join the ranks you‘ll know what being a troop is all about, and how officer‘s are viewed, ect, ect. Before you lead you need to follow kind of thing. You can always transfer, and there is nothing to lose in it.

    Most people who join the army as a NCM usually change their minds about becoming an officer. I would suggest being in the reserves for awhile before commiting to reg. force officer.

    If you are under the age of 18 you cannot be deployed over seas. If you are over the age of 18 you can volenteer to serve overseas.

    BMQ is 20 training days. It will be spread out however whoever is running the coarse wants it. Sometimes you may not be doing it entirely on weekends depending if your BMQ falls on something like Spring break or christmas vacation, as often you may go on a 5 day stint. Every coarse is different.

    Sorry, I wasn‘t talking about peacetime, I didn‘t mention that sorry. I was told during a full out war to "have at‘er" with any weapon, and that if you go on operation you can get an authorised weapon, however unlikely. I guess this would be form years back however, I‘m not sure. :S
