well i handed in all my papers and have an aptitude test monday, i asked a recruiter if i would get in for the summer, (beggining of July)and he said its goin 2 be close, but if i get all my things in by the end of march i should get in. What happenes if i don‘t, am i still part of the CF in sepetember for every other weekend, or do i have 2 wait until i do basic training? do they always say that they will try and get you in, but mostly never happen? can you guys give me some feedback on what yah think will happen, and what to do if i don‘t get in this summer. I really want to be part of the CF during school. Thanks

When you are sworn in you are a member of the CF, however untrained. You will still parade with your unit. As for going for weekend excercises, it varies from unit to unit. Also, often BMQ coarses are run during the fall, starting around October.

i just hope i can get in this summer, and the quicker i find out the way better it is. Is there like a deadline that if you havent finnished all your stuff you can‘t get in? it seems like at for me at least in kitchener that if you havent done all your tests by the end of march your not geeting in for the summer

You can‘t go on weekend field exercises until you have the SQ. You could still parade on garrison weekends.

It depends on the unit/leadership on whether or not BMQ and unqual troops can go to field exercises. Sometimes unqual. troops can be tasked to GD for the ex or to watch and learn. BMQ pers. can be tasked to GD or to provide enemy force for the ex.
