I'm hoping to be done PLQ (JLC) before my degree, which shouldnt be to hard seeing as though I have at least 2 years before I should be done. Which part of officer training is skipped? Zoomie, who were you with as a crewman?

I was just wondering if any of the pilots here made the jump from NCM to pilot (Res or Reg.)? This is a path that I am seriously considering after I complete my university degree. Any experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.

How many times are you allowed to do the Aircrew Selection? If you don't pass the first time, are you allowed to try again? And if so, how long must you wait?

I dont see them in that picture, most jungle boots I have seen have holes in the side to allow water to drain out. Good for if you think you will be going through a swamp or its raining alot.

As a member of 38 CBG, I went on a canoe trip for adventure training 2 years ago. I also leave tuesday to go to Pincher Creek, Alberta for skiing and avalanche training. So in answer to your question, there still is adventure training. It might just depend on where you are.
