Using Reg F (Military) SWE to pay PRes C-127?

I'm probably wrong, but doesn't the CAF refund some 13,000 salaries each FY for the amount of RegF positions we are short? Or does TB get their sticky mitts on it before it arrives in DND coffers?

Using Reg F (Military) SWE to pay PRes C-127?

I'm a L2 HQ working on behalf of a unit. I'm sure it has to go to L1 for funds transfer. I'm not au fait with the FAM so working in the grey here. So recommended COA is to ask my L1 for additional C127? The issue is that not only did we get our full allocation of C127, we received an additional...

Using Reg F (Military) SWE to pay PRes C-127?

Do you know where the funds came from? I recently did this and VCDS O&E approved the 1 year class B, but the funds came out of my own C127 & will be reported as a pressure end-FY.

    Annuitant and Class C

Mike, on our tour I had to send at least one Cl C (a Capt SW) home early due to him being at risk of "parading" 365 days straight. That caught me and the rest of the CofC completely off guard. I don't have the refs, but I believe it is TB that states 1-day break, and the CAF flinch factor is 35...

    FTSE Eligibility

CA is offering 5 yrs FTSE, and I believe they are the only L1 doing so. They are paying for that 5th year out of their own budget.

Significance of red/white pennant stencil on c1966 Centurion

It is a crop - from one of these photos (which may be the same tank in both). There are other photos from what appears to be the same set of Centurions without the pennant. If it was C/S 2 or 21, 22 etc, then I'd be inclined to guess some kind of commander / leader identifier. But C/S 23B is...

Significance of red/white pennant stencil on c1966 Centurion

Additional info on the tank: The CFR 51 81358, tank name on the sideskirt is BALTIC II, which is c/s 23B in the LdSH(RC) (B Sqn 3 Tp) , so this would jive with 1966-68 timeframe.

Significance of red/white pennant stencil on c1966 Centurion

Fellas, my google has failed. I'm looking for the significance of this pennant stenciled on a the turret bin of a Canadian Centurion tank. Timeframe c1966 may put it as a LdSH(RC) tank supporting 2 Div (UK), BAOR, although it may be a 4 CMBG tank if the NDIL info inaccurate. Considering WW2...

In need of HRMS / Guardian Ninja

Follow up - Thankful for MCpl's today! Our L1 O&E figured out that by deleting the job sub-function code, it opens up the main job codes for the Cpl - MWO ranks. As for PTE > OFFR, the PTE position has to be made redundant in HRMS while creating the OFFR position. CM has to make sure any filled...

In need of HRMS / Guardian Ninja

Unfortunately, I think that is me. Our HRA released and the CC doesn't have O&E access. I'm working with DVCDS O&E and have a mtg with them today, but I don't have great expectations. Thanks for the CFP 219, I will follow that down.

In need of HRMS / Guardian Ninja

I'm neck deep in EC and have hit a wall with a reorg project. I have Guardian O&E access. Trying to change Pte/Avr ranks to NCM. There's no option in the drop down job code or rank fields to do this. I can change a Cpl to a MWO no problem, but when it comes to Pte to Cpl I am stumped...

    M24 Chaffee in Canadian Service

Sending 1 tank to a Regt; talk about an orphan fleet. I wonder what argument was used to send 1 of them there? Armed CO's runabout?

Not sure if this is still the case, but applicants with Master's degrees were advance promoted to Captain. Plus, you are instantly more competitive at the Capt boards with an additional point for your graduate degree.

    PRES VS RCN PRL

ah, necropost warning...bashing on Mike, do you know what is involved in transferring from MPC PRL to NAV RES? I'm competing for an "Any" MOSID REO with NAV RES. Currently, as HS, I am on MPC PRL on contract (outside MOSID again) at CJOC. Or, are you aware if a transfer is definitely...

    CAF Pension managed by PWGSC

Released Aug 2016, into a Temp Cl B <180 day contract. PWGSC said I was not entitled to an annuity. Had to speak with four reps, all sang the same tune. And when I means speak to four reps, I mean literally hours on hold and being bounced from person to person. Finally got someone who was...

Canadian Forces Aptitude Test (CFAT) [MERGED]

Hey Fellas, first time over in this part of Army.ca. Got a friend who wrote her CFAT today. She was trying for PSEL. Did not meet the cut off. That's the short version. A bit more info - she has graduated with BA in Psych, was a former PRes Security Officer (Lt), passed FORCE, E-E-E French...

    M24 Chaffee in Canadian Service

Let us know if you find any photos. I have a Bronco 35th Chaffee I'd like to do up in RCAC markings. I think there is a Chaffee at Borden, but I'm not sure of its pedigree.
