    Problems and Bugs

Were the Insurgency Levels medals reset? For example, 'cleared insurgency in 15 locations'; what was it before? Right now it offers +100 Morale. If I had used that medal when it was +100 incentive/situational awareness/whatever, before it was converted to morale, was it reset, or was that medal...

    Training the core

This flies in the face of conventional training knowledge. I was able to hit 120 pushups (all the up, all the way down - good form basically) by doing them on a constant basis. Other than that, Nostix basically understands what my point was; there are better ways to train your abdominal muscles...

    Training the core

The pilot is strapped into his chair, so he can't bend forward. So, again, this is like the plank, and not an actual sit up/crunch.

    Introducing Morale

    No worries.

    Training the core

The average male needs months of training to be able to deadlift 350 pounds. That is using a barbell with weights; an ideal scenario which makes lifting weights 'easy'. I can't imagine how difficult it is to lift an asymetrical 350 pound man, let alone having a woman do it, several feet, onto a bed.

    Introducing Morale

Not quite. There was no negative consequence brought on by missed CR. On the contrary, certain medals and daily challenges could be acquired due to missed CR. So there was no way the CR was 'wasted'. This aided me greatly, and allowed me to jump ranks very quickly. It still does. In one day, if...

    Training the core

We are talking about validating the crunch/sit up. So from a suppinated position, bring the torso up to vertical. Keeping your body/torso braced and stable, while crossing an obstacle, would be something that could be achieved through stabilization brought on by the core muscles. A plank would...

    Training the core

Please enlighten me; I can't think of any job where a soldier needs to ever do a sit up or crunch.

    Introducing Morale

I'm not a big fan of morale. These past few weeks I've been away from home and with my current regen time of 36 seconds and my CR of 584, it basically takes: (36 * 584) * (1 hour / 3600 seconds) ~ 6 hours (rounded up!) until my CR is completely refilled. As I continue to increase in CR and use...

You mean they are phasing out sit ups/crunch?

Bio hacking: do NOT try this at home

This concept hasn't been tried before. I don't remember where I saw it, but some scientists/engineers were tinkering with sensors that could be placed under the skin that allowed individuals to turn on light switches and open/close automatic doors through thought. I cannot find the damn links...

    Training the core

Some of you probably know about Dr. Stuart McGill, at Waterloo University, a prominent figure in the biomechanics and 'health' of the spine. Through out his career, he has advocated the evil that is flexion, in relation to the spine; the exercises known as crunch and sit up. Instead, he has...

Cop guns down deaf, old Native American.

Didn't see this posted anywhere; it probably doesn't belong here. This is just so shocking and abysmal that I feel I have to post it. Not trying to stir the pot. I'm just putting it out there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1VKo6-m27c&feature=player_embedded

Violence, War and Big Ideas like that.

The problem with your post is that I wasn't sure what side you were agreeing on. One part you seem to say "war is bad", then you turn around and say "we should level cities", then turn around and say "we should learn to forgive", then turn around, etc. ??? :P

Murderer murders cell mate, prison authorities shocked

Doesn't this happen all the time in every prison all over the world? ::)

Violence, War and Big Ideas like that.

This is incorrect. Wars change the outcome in both the long and short run. A common example: How different would the world today be if the nazis had won WW2? Violence can be the solution. There are many ways to persuade someone from across the globe to see things your way. Sometimes, you might...

The Legality of Self Defence In Canada

I need to separate my sentences better. The point is that you don't know what the crook will do, even if you give him your wallet. Why would/should protecting yourself on the street be any different than protecting yourself at home? So it would be better to be armed, than not.
