We have people going to BMQ in the Winter hoping to get on a part time SQ before summer. BMQ is eleven weekends total and it is usuall every other weekend. As mentioned, you will have to do your trades training full time in the summer. Keep in mind, you can't count on automatically doing one...
Thanks for that Baden; I am definitely going to watch that. I had a chance to get a close up on Saturday at the Vintage Wings open house. We are so lucky to have them in the area.
I hope these show up for everyone else...
I can't wait to see it as a Golden Hawk!
Think about the potential impact that a comments such as "I guess the best advice would be; just lie" may have on this forum. Look at how many times this thread has been viewed. 12479 times and counting! A lot of people who really want to be in the CF may be in similar if not identical...
I wonder what will happen when this report is released. Thus far, the polls have suggested the Blue machine was going to steam roll everyone else...

If you were accepted under CEOTP, could you work on your degree while on OJT? I realize that they are supposed to do this part time, but I was wondering if some were able to study full time while on OJT.
Now that you mention it...no more traditional theme song, 77 Leafs games for Hockey Night in Toronto er umm.. I mean Canada; I think I can go without HNIC. But then again, it might be entertaining to watch them 'rebuild' this year. >:D
Just throw the word "Yo" in front of your next statement and add in the word "sick" to describe something that was "cool" in our days.

I got my fill of youth related terminology at the mess this evening. I think I am getting the...

If you find this frustrating, you can imagine how I feel while attempting to configure and deploy software to the DWAN. I have learned to stop asking, "Why are we doing it this way?" :brickwall:
Scout,
If you are lucky, you can do some things while on PAT. It is a limited role that will allow you to put on the uniform, learn about some of the kit, attend lectures on rank structure, drill, etc. There may be other opportunities that present themselves throughout the year, but they are...
I know we had plenty kitted up and ready to go in the summer, but they didn't have space for everybody. I wonder if the fall courses will be the same.
Anyway, keep working on your PT and hang in there. Show up to the Unit(s) you are interested in around mid September and speak to the Unit...
I might be interested depending on when it is. I don't know of many others who are on army.ca, but I know of plenty who are up for a drink. I'll see if any are interested when we start up again next week.
How long does GungHo have to decide? The original post was made on July 30th. Either way, it's a good thread for all of those who might be faced with a similar decision in the future.
Standards are low. The sad part is while working out, I have seen many members scream and yell when PSP staff tell them that if they do the test they may die. It's interesting to see the same person come back and thank the PSP'er for opening their eyes. This of course is after they have seen a...
