I'm not sure what you are referring to?  I don't see anywhere where ArmyVern discusses the need to be able to read someone's name on their uniform outside the wire. I do see where she discusses the different types of nametapes and various uniformity and IR issues....

Curious: - How important is it for troops to have nametags beyond the wire?  I ask because I really don't know.  ArmyVern mentioned it affected DAG status. - How complicated would it be for the Forces to say, buy a few special stitching machines?  Would the cost not be less than outsourcing? 

They do, all the CF needs is to read the posts on Army.ca!  I agree that some sort of secret shopper type program might wake some people up, but I have a sneaking suspicion that that information may fall on less than perfect-hearing ears.

Speaking somewhat from experience,  what I think you'll probably see under this new system is a large amount of cadets VR-ing after their first year because they did not get the trade choice they always had in their heads (I have Pilot or an aircrew slot in my head as I say this, but it applies...

Methinks he heard about them offering some CEOTPs the chance to take a year "off" in a major city centre to study full time.    CFRC Montreal used this several times as a sales pitch for me "Oh, we have a couple officers down here who do a few interviews but mostly just go to school. Nice break...

So if I understand correctly, you want to go ROTP, but still as a Pilot, if (and only if) CEOTP closes, or if it will be a faster go of getting your wings? I don't know how many academic credits you currently have, but *most* university degrees that are worth any salt at all are a MIN of 3...

I'm still not following why you would want to switch from CEOTP to ROTP.  Particularly as you are already a student at RMC?  You make mention of the fact that you want to be a pilot, but that that may not occur. So what other trade are you interested in under ROTP?  What is your goal here...

Yes; though Im not sure if you are aware of th difference between a collection agency and a credit counseling organization.  Collection Agencies (generally) buy your debt from creditors, and then try to recover it.  Since by this point most of it is unrecoverable, they dont buy it for very much...

Yeah, keep in mind that the original creditor is losing a lot of money by going with a collections group.  A lot.  So if they can recover a portion of their money, its better than writing it all off and getting pennies on the dollar from the collections group.

I figured as much, but would hate to be thinking I'm running 8K when its really only 5.  Though I suppose I should be able to tell the difference.
