Medical Technician ( Med Tech )

You are employed by the CAF, you should use the provided protocols. To deviate from those invites accusations of negligence against you without top cover from the crown, as you are not licenced in the province you practice. Edit to add: see point a. above.

Medical Technician ( Med Tech )

One question with two connotations: Why are you having this discussion with the Base Surgeon? A. As a Cpl QL5 Med Tech, the discussion is academic, because you are only allowed to provide medical care in the manner prescribed by those protocols and the training you have received within the CAF...

Joint Task Force 2 (JTF 2) - Canadian Special Forces

As the previous post from the CSOR website, CSOR operators, now that is a trade, MUST serve 3 years before any transfer application is entertained. And just saying, you have on the lower end of  a 1/3rd chance of even getting past selection, in either unit, just to get onto the courses.

Survey: Vets "Face Significant Barriers Finding Meaningful Employment"

I may be off base here, but why should there be any sort of preference for Canadian employers to hire former (Regular Force) military members. Do they add value to their business, help bring profits, make them more efficient? If the answer is no, then why would they hire a former member.

    All things CF98 (merged)

If he is still serving, he could personally request a review of his medical to see what documentation of his injuries there is, who treated you, and what your diagnosis was. That will help with the DVA claim he is seeking.

    All things CF98 (merged)

CF 98 is an administrative form, and not a medical form. It can and should be initiated by the chain of command if an injury happens and the member is unable to initiate. There should be a significant amount of paper avail for you detailing injuries from those events, if you reported them at...

Traumatic Blast Injury(TBI) and Neuroendocrine Disorder(NED).

The OSI clinic is a self-licking ice cream cone, who's sole purpose is to help you deal with your condition. They (psychiatrist, psychologists, social workers etc) are not primary care providers, nor do they have time to deal with issues outside thier comfort zone. VAC doesn't have a clue about...
