Odd, I was told by the Captain at CFRC Vancouver to not go Reserve Infantry (that was my original choice, wasn't planning on a Forces career). CFR FCS - Thank you for the info. My hopes are now up for January :)

Good point ID  :)  If someone could move this thread would be appreciated. Update on whats happening.  Medical and interview went well back in July.  A bit of a mess up happened sometime after though, and I got a call last week to schedule my medical.  Seems someone didn't read my file fully...

Dejo - Similar situation here.  My file was supposed to head off to the last Selection Board (according to the CFRC), but someone handling my file didn't read it thoroughly and thought my medical hadn't been done and the file never made it to the Selection Board. Oh well, things are figured out...

I have to disagree with everyone saying the August BMOQ's are full.  Friend of mine got his call on Monday and is in the August 18th intake.  Still waiting on my Medical to get back from Ontario :(

Possibly showcasing how much the education system has faltered in the times since?  With grade 12 english now consisting of art projects, I wouldn't be surprised if most high school graduates were to fail this test nowadays. (Graduated in 04)

Standard high school track is a quarter mile (402 meters).  So yes 6 laps is equal to 2.4km (2.412 if you want to be technical).

Might be swearing in on the 31st in Vancouver.  Got my medical next week and have gotten the impression from the recruitment center that they're fast tracking my application to get me into the Aug/Sept BMOQ (my trade is in high demand AEC).

Spent most of my childhood stuck between RCMP and the Forces.  Decided against RCMP due to my disdain for certain laws in this Country that I would have a tough time enforcing. (I do follow those laws myself, I just would not be able to enforce them in good concience.)
