Hey guys. Looked around here for the size chart for the CADPAT uniform (combats) but couldn't find it. Could someone be kind enough to provide it, for both pants and tunic, or point me to the right thread? Also, is the sizing exactly the same for old and new style combats? Thanks.

As was mentioned, the FORCE test IS part of the application, but for PRes only. I think it's more important to just keep yourself in good shape rather than worry which physical test comes when. Your physical abilities will be put to test in BMQ one way or another. It pays to be in good shape...

For Reserve weekend BMQ, the FORCE test (sandbags) was done prior to enrolment. A run/situp/pushup test was done at 2nd or 3rd weekend, and the results were recorded. I heard it will be done again at the end of BMQ, to track improvement.

Sure thing. The autobiography instructions given to us this fall were somewhat different from above. Note this is for part-time PRes BMQ, and may only be applicable within my Brigade. Needless to say, you should always follow instructions of your direct chain of command. Here's what was sent...

At PRes weekend BMQ that started this fall, we were told to prepare a biography before arriving for the first weekend. But we all had to rewrite it by hand to be in line with the given template.

Do you know what trade or unit you'd like to join? If not, contact your local recruiting centre so they can give you contact information for it. Then get a tour at the unit on their parade night and chat with the recruiter there, he/she should be able to answer these questions. Training duration...

Oh, but I'm doing BMQ though (non-commissioned)! We won't be at FYA. We will assemble there tonight but will be taken elsewhere for our first weekend of training.

As far as I know, Oct 30 is a part-time BMQ, and the next one would be a full-time one in the summer of 2016. Then again part-time in fall of 2016. I'd get on this one, otherwise you might be in for quite a wait. But check with your recruiter to make sure. And do it fast. It's already Wednesday...

Anyone else with completed NCM file still waiting to get loaded on Toronto Oct 30 combined BMQ/BMOQ? Also, I was wondering, since Oct 2 BMQ is at Fort York, doesn't that mean Fort York is "taken" now? So the Oct 30 BMQ will be somewhere else?

Ok so I've received an email from the recruiter that there is an Oct 30 course. It's for officers, however they're working on letting some NCMs join as well, people such as myself who missed the early Oct course. Have to wait some more and see.
