Dont you have a pair of the issued ballistic glasses ? (those im wearing in my avatar).  The staff on your SQ is more likely to let you wear them.

Since there arent any diplomas required, what are they looking for in a new recruit?  Having dropped out of college i was thinking I was thinking of applying next year.  Will my experience in the army reserve make a difference?

Usually, you will have to be there at 1900h on friday, and you may leave as early as 1400h but they can keep you till 0000h.. it all depends.

They were actually using a real XM214 with real ammo in Predator.   it uses 5.56 ammo, so i dont think the kick we be so hard.    Humping it around in the woods is an other story the weapon itself is 30 pounds, and say your carrying 1000 rounds add 35 pounds.

You know i had the same dream as you... but i turned into an infantry bum  :D .  But seriously being a pilot in the CAF is quite difficult and wont get you that many opportunities.  Quite frankly, if you really want to be a pilot you should consider moving in the States and join the US Air...
