Every time the ship rolled, the fan cooler unit would piss water on my rack. You learned pretty quickly to keep your gortex rain gear on your bed, both day and night.
Most don't bother with the seatbelt (bedbelt?) as it is irritating.
The pro move is to get an empty sonobuoy container from sono stores and put it under your mattress, which folds up the mattress and holds you into your rack like a weiner in a hotdog bun. Best sleep of my life…

I once got thrown out of my rack in the middle of the night. The only thing that saved me was waking up in mid air and somehow catching the wire ways….
