Ermm... I know there's a technique that Instructors will want to see, but they're just push ups! It's pretty much the easiest thing to get your head around... sorry, I just find that a 4 paragraph explanation on how to do a proper push a bit laughable!  ;D Back in my Cadet days ( about 16-17...

Just worked out my THR usuing the formula ModlrMike posted. Using this formula I got a THR of 137-164 vs. the old formula result of 132-174. I'll give the new calculation a go and see if it makes any difference. ;)

No worries.... It's my fault for not being more clear. But, what you just said is n=more or less exactly what I plan on doing. Upon chatting with reg force friends that have done degrees and got their commission as a result, it is more or less what I intend to do in the future.

No disrespect, but I am aware that Sig Op and Cmbt Engineer are NCM positions. I was talking about later on in my career... do sometime as an NCM now, while I am still young enough and in shape and then get a degree later on down the road when I've had a bit more experience.

I realize. It's a gamble, but its one I'm willing to lose if it means I get the career I want out of it. I'm not too worried about that at this point... If I get Engineers, then it's Out west (Edmonton?) or Pet most likely....as for sig Op, I'd be training in Kingston for at least a year or...

I’m currently waiting on my trades to open up, and since my two choices (Sig Op and Combat Engineer) are more specialized for lack of a better term, I’m expecting a bit of a wait. This has given me some time to really think about these two trades in relation to each other and how I might suit...

LOL! Even as a Cadet we did sit ups on the armoury parade square.... outside on the grass.... down matawa plains on gravel (gotta get creative with your technique on that ****) then on the beach in the sand.....always lovely...... but never on blue mats....  ::)
