Im in desperate need. Please HELP

Wow you really are in a desperate situation. However, I'm pretty sure you can get from Calgary to Toronto and then Borden in less than 36 hours, check with AirCanada or WestJet or some other airline. This is probably the best advice for you. You might not find much sympathy for your situation...

    Common law not so supportive

I didn't mean to say that people don't have problems or issues at home, of course we all do. I was referring to those people who just signed up for training with some pretty serious issues at home  - a recruit that left a young teenager home alone because the recruit thought the military would...

    Women's Attire in the CF

I must of just missed that, my initial kit included a black and a white skirt and one pair of pants in each colour. I haven't worn either of the skirts but I'm going to be wearing the white pants next week for divisions.

 maybe we should ask Mr. Bobbitt to open a new section called Dear Para! All the somebody done somebody wrong threads could be moved over there. It amazes me how many people go off to basic or other training and they don't have their home lives sorted out. They show up and the next thing...

    Bill Cosby vs Jack Layton

I believe Cosby's son was shot and killed. This is probably his way of dealing with his loss. I say kudos to him.

    The 911 Conspiracy Theory thread

I'm just happy that someone has finally uncovered the real truth about the Minnow,  her creepy skipper and his "little buddy" http://www.apeculture.com/mediamorph/minnowfiles.htm *Whew*

    Sailors to Wear CADPAT?

hmmm let's see... I wore cadpat at bmq, my deu's for grad, my ncd's at my unit and 2 days in Halifax, olive drab for 3 weeks at the present job until we all switched to cadpat....if I counted the days I've been in the navy and how many of them I wore cadpat vs. ncd's or deu's, I'd guess about...

the recruiting centers Hours of Operation

Actually your previous posts did go through but nobody wanted to do your homework for you. Try the dnd.ca site and look under recruiting. I'm pretty sure their hours of operation will be posted there. I personally don't have that information burned into my brain because I don't need to go to...

    Confused

It's possible that the recruiting centre is prepared to do all your testing on the same day. I know when I went there were about 60 people having various tests. Some had already done the CFAT and medical and were there for only interviews and fitness. Some had passed everything and were there...

    The Sgt. Paisley Merged Thread

I agree with KevinB, I seem to recall hearing that Sgt. Paisley has already been released from the CF. It's fruitless IMO to be armchair lawyers here and comment on whether or not the decision to drop the charges against Sgt. Paisley is the correct one or not. It is what it is and obviously...

So I'm in the market for a new(er) car...any suggestions?

Toyota Matrix. I don't have one but I've been considering it as my next car. They are reasonably priced. Toyotas keep their value and it's a functional vehicle. You can check it out at http://www.toyota.ca. Not sure if you would be able to get a used one because they are a fairly new...

    Women's Attire in the CF

I really hope this thread is a joke. If it's not, it concerns me deeply that anyone considering a career in the CF would even bother worrying about something this trivial. You will wear issued kit, most of which will probably never fit you properly anyways. I have yet to wear a skirt but if the...

 too funny TCBF Jake it's been awhile since I did my physical but I'm pretty sure they suggest no caffeine or tobacco for several hours prior to the test. Good luck!
