Have you considere booking the CFAT and starting the process? It can take several months, so who knows it may be the 27th before you are merit listed then you are ahead of the game :) ...I booked my CFAT a week after applying... :P

So in the end are you still continuing with your application? That could quite possibly be the reason. Could also be that he understood you would be disappointed. Some recruiters really care a lot about their applicants (not to say some don't care at all) and are truly disappointed when they...

ROTP at Civilian University 2004 - 2018 [Merged]

I still think this does not make sense. Post-secondary mark are a representation of who you ARE, whereas high school marks are a representation of who you WERE. PS: Just my thoughts, not being argumentative.

What trades do promotions come faster in?

Do you have a particular area you are interested in for starters? Officer or NCM? Army, Navy or Air Force? Any particular branch? Etcetera. PS: As anyone will say, you should choose an occupation you would like.

ROTP at Civilian University 2004 - 2018 [Merged]

Academics are even more crucial this year (albeit in my humble opinion pretty poorly scrutinized). I made it past the initial academic phase last year after a year and a half in college and was deemed a strong applicant (unfortunately was unable to be merit listed). This year due to changes in...

    Switching 1st / 2nd choice ?

No, you are right. The selections are looked at as A, B, C for every  entry plan. The only thing the order does is that it can show you have a greater enthusiasm and interest for a particular occupation so it is still better to put the occupations in your preferred order (told to me by an MCC...

    Switching 1st / 2nd choice ?

No not a problem at all. Just inform them you would like to change the order of your choices when you go in to write your CFAT. Good luck! :)

I do not belive you are giving Finland the credit they deserve. They won Bronze in Vancouver and Silver in Turin. I understand the feeling about Latvia but they played a great game and their goalie played amazing. I do not believe that either of these games are cause for alarm.

Haha, I actually had the same feeling. They put their heart and souls into that game and had a great overall tournament. I guess I could try and blame it on lack of sleep from all the late night Olympics :P

Could you give an example of a compulsory occupation transfer or what would cause one? The only thing I could think of would be failing occupation training but I do not know if that would actually even be covered by this.
