I am currently looking to purchase my first civi pattern M4 and I know that there are a lot of different manufacturers out there. Can anyone here please give me some recommendations of good mil spec producers? Your input and any personal experience/feedback both positive and negative would be...
Lestock cheers for that. PM inbound!
George I'm pretty sure the C.C of Canada applies to all Canadians whether at home or abroad but perhaps I've been mislead there.
Watched some of the d-day anniversary coverage today on the CBC and saw members of the Cogswell family wearing their Grandfather's medals at the ceremony and interviewed by the media. Should they be charged under the C.C for their transgression upon returning to Canada?
A vet from the Brit AB forces association here in Canada was invited to come over for the jump. Hopefully it will be fair winds and soft landings as old Bruce has just celebrated his 90th.
If you've hot a 400m track you can use an easy method is to sprint the straights and jog the curves. As was already mentioned here hill reps are good too.
I've seen a paint used that I believe is called "Cormack". From my understanding it's used for painting horses hooves for ceremonial purposes. It's very shiny and doesn't seem to damage the shoes/boots.
The other option is bulling them properly and then getting them treated with bees wax. I'm...
In regards to the decision to award a theatre honour to units from CANSOFCOM does anyone here know if any of those units currently hold any other honours? Did they inherit any from units such as the Devils Brigade? Just curious and although I read through the entire thread it's possible that it...
Ya the field rat's are ok until you have to eat them cold. Also investing in something such as tobacco or Frank's hot sauce is well worth it. Just my :2c:
It certainly seems like this law suit is being conducted more to counter the law suit that has been laid by the family of the deceased teen. I'm not sure if it's the same here as it is south of the border but my understanding is that it's easier to prove civil liability than it is a criminal...
The question is have they tried to create a job-specific fit test that even the fatties can pass? Is it really a true determination of whether or not someone is fit (or unfit)?
Either way it seems as though we agree that just a simple timed run is a good way to assess the overall cardiovascular fitness of service members.
It sounds as though it would be easier to administer at the unit level than the FORCE test.
If you're the primary next of kin you can send in the paper work requesting his medals to the MoD medals office. They may not reissue the medals but they can certainly tell you what he is entitled to.
My grandfather was seconded from the S. African Union defence forces to the Royal Navy. He served from December 1941 to 1946 with the special branch as either a radar or sonar officer.
Not that I have any intention of wearing them but we just got word that the MOD is going to issue us all of my Grandfather's WW 2 medals. Since he had never received any of them the process took a little while to complete and by the time we receive them it'll have been just over a year from...
In the Brits the two standard PT tests that were common across the army were the 1.5 mile run and the 8 mile ruck march. Even if the ruck march is something that should be specific to the army the 1.5 mile run is something that could be common to all branches.
