Realistically the current three large shipyards are going to be busy with building ships for the next 20 years so getting it built overseas seems to be the only option.
get them to build two and you can sell them to the public as dual use for domestic emergency and fleet ships
Would it be easier to rework our current Protecteur class design and make the main deck a helicopter deck with an elevator to lower deck and maybe a ramp on the side just asking it?
Well since we only have 6 CPF's should we just retire the worst 6 and maybe buy 4 to 6 light ASW frigates from South Korea I assume they could pump those out in a few years.
I say also order 4 batch four frigates and retire four of our worst and name them for cities in South Korea

If you read down to the chart that shows the laid down to commissioning it takes 11 years for them to build a Suffren class submarine. I don't think that is an option for us but if we get the K-III with the vertical launch maybe we can get them to modify to allow French missiles that would have...
