It's not only the 'young persons' that are 'lazy or entitled', that label can be equally applied to individuals across all age ranges. There are always some that fall under that label, unfortunately.
I agree, the age range is too broad in this case. Better representation would be 15-22, add the 23-24 into the next age bracket.
