Just so I understand, this sell off of NS occurred over 30yrs ago, in 1992, correct? It was done in order to lower the debt of NS and was sold for what seems to be the incredibly tiny amount of of 192$ million, which even going back to 1992 seems small.

Not aware of the ins and outs of what happened in NS with electricity but the issue could have been poorly structured terms done by the Provincial Gov't. Could they have have been 'incompetent' in the ability to negotiate a good deal?
