Nice distraction from my day job.  Thank you (and submitted)  :2c:

I've only had three matches so far this month.  I'll be at Albany at the end of the month, but I'm used to 10 a month (about half online using VASL)

Yes, there is quite an active ASL group there, and in fact, next year's Canadian Advanced Squad Leader Open (CASLO) will be in Ottawa. Some links: http://asl-battleschool.blogspot.com/p/contact.html Chris is not as responsive for the past little bit; his wife has been ill. Here is info on the...

*Bump* Any interest?  *taps mic* Is this thing on?  ;)

So there's this guy, and his friend meets him on the street.  "Dan!" he says.  "Your head!  What happened?"  "It's a giant pumpkin, I know, but you see, I found this magic lamp and I messed up my wishes." "Oh?  How did you do that?" "Well, first I asked for a hundred million dollars. Bam!  I'm...

They introduce Off Board Artillery in Decision at Elst. Now, there is a way to play via Internet.  Using a program (freeware) called "Virtual Advanced Squad Leader" (VASL), you can play in real time or even via email.  It uses a base program called VASSAL (http://www.vassalengine.org), and then...

Howdy. Tactical wargames, the kind played on tables and not on computers, appeal to me to the point that I've invested several hundreds of dollars in them, primarily into the Advanced Squad Leader system. That said, do you play ASL?  If not; why not? ;D Anyway, if you play or are interested in...

Is this the beard committee?

I personally believe that the conditions exist (largely, not solely) due to people not knowing how to shave.  Commercial razors are crap, people don't know how to condition their skin and they do crazy things like shave against the grain! Get a brush and dish of shaving soap, some pre-shave...

Thank you all. I've reached out to Martel's.

I am on a posting in the USA.  I can look to GOOGLE to check who does medal mounting; however, I wish to poll people here: Whom would you recommend for mounting of my medals?  I received a bar to my CD and wish my medals (and minatures) to be mounted.  Primary criterium is quality, tied with...

Your mileage may vary, but in my own personal experience, TD was the better option.  I booked off the first morning of my House Hunting Trip to set up my TDBank account (the US account).  I walked in when they opened and then walked out with my account all set up, bank card and check book in...

NECRO THREAD: The soundtrack is on point.  Saw it tonight in IMAX.  Second time I saw it. This clip is called "Seawall".  Enjoy

I have a short handled Merkur.  The blades are by Astra.  I think they are made in Russia.  You can get a 100 count for under 10 bucks (US).  My brush is badger hair and was made by a local artisan here in Northern Virginia My soap, oil and post shave balm is from the Art of Shaving. My...

*Bump* I just saw this movie yesterday at Fort Belvoir, Virginia in an exclusive preview.  Fantastic film.  Not heavy on dialogue, and the music is perfect.  Go see this and get used to the subtle sound of a ticking clock.  The manner in which the film is presented is quite clever.  You will...

I was at this inauguration.  There were hundreds of thousands of people.  We were prevented from going to the mall because it was filled,  at least near 4th. There is an active agenda to make it seem that it was poorly attended. A participant of the Women's March even posted a photo on twitter...

This thread started in July....

There, fixed it for you.... ;D

I was there.  The rain was light even though the forecast was for substantial rain.
