Same topic, different province. Ontario is recommending the same pin. Here's the link to the other thread: https://navy.ca/forums/threads/ontario-leg-passes-motion-for-lieutenant-governor%E2%80%99s-military-service-pin.117264/

That was Disney trying to save a buck.

Thanks for the link. I'll check that out. Just another example of "the quality outweighs the compensation"

I bought this for when I'm working in no-cell-phone zones. Inexpensive, and works great. and got it on 2-day delivery from Amazon. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08XYC9FYM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

The second possibility being Morgan Freeman? I am personally impressed that, even though Darth Vader was such a high-profile role, he seemed to be ok with only being paid a pittance, comparatively speaking, to what the role was worth. I mean, he didn't even take credit for the voice work in...

So, in reading the email content you have provided, at the time you had your medical interview there were issues that the medical officer had with your file, condition, background, etc. that would mean that unfortunately, you do not meet the medical standards for the universality of service...

^^ THIS ^^ When I enrolled, I had found out that I had a suspended licenence in Ontario on file (apparently, it had been suspended AFTER I moved to Quebec and switched my licence over, but never got any information on it in the 7+ years after it was "suspended"). When they did my background...

sorry, just re-read the OP.. of course it's indoors... derp...

So... you want to wear sunglasses on top of your head indoors? That is what I'm taking away from that... Otherwise, I'm fairly certain the only time you'd be outdoors with no headdress is either at sea on a ship (no issue with sunglasses there), on an active airfield (but wouldn't you be...

I'm gonna guess you are RCAF or RCN and are asking to wear them on the top of the brim of your ball cap. Here are your options: 1. This will most likely be a no, although I don't get a lot of flak transiting from my office to outside looking like this. 2. This is acceptable. 3. I want...

Something tells me that there was no follow-up on the previous lessons learned...

On time and under budget...

When I joined, I was 29 years old, no criminal record, no travel outside of Canada and continental US, and I'm not even sure if my references were contacted, TBH. Besides, at the CFRC, they are only sending in a screening request for a reliability status anyways. It won't be until you have the...

Mitigate your pain threshold with your knee issues. I know some folks that drop a couple of Tylenol / Advil / Aleve an hour or so before a FORCE test, just to get through it (pain management), and then ice up good after. As for the rushes, as long as you have a decent cardio threshold, you...

Think more High School gym and less Prison. They are stalls, but make sure you don't do your pooping before an inspection. Really kills the vibe the staff are looking for... As for in the field, there are Blue Rockets, so you should be ok. As always, I'm here to help 😉

Jaysus... imagine being the reason to go through THAT change parade...

Reg force infanteer, eh? I would normally push the Naval Experience Program, but I can respect someone who wants to join the infantry. Realistically speaking, there is no "set" amount of time to wait for a BMQ course. My suggestion would be to reach out to a CFRC (Recruiting Centre) on an...

Do you want Reg force or Reserves?

They may get processed with Reliability first, and then re-processed as TS prior to their first employment off of initial trade training. I know that my trade requires TS, but recruits come to us from CFLRS with Reliability status, and the USS here at the school assists the students with...

Are you looking at a specific trade, or just want to see if the military is the right choice for you?
