What exactly is "purging " of the records.  Are the records destroyed?

Well, I got a call from the CFRC today regarding my security clearance.  I seemed to have forgot to fill in how long I have been living at my current address.  I gave her the estimated date and it was entered into the system.  I'm just curious what relevance this has while doing a security...

Well they just took our forms and put them in with the rest of our file.  Same with everyone elses.  No one got pulled away. 

Well I just got back from CFRC Toronto, I just did the CFAT and I got "EVERYTHING" down the side of the sheet, which is good.  For the drug questionnaire I was honest.  I put that I drank maybe once a week,  Smoked maybe 2 smokes a day drank coffee.  I also put the I smoked pot 7 - 10 times...

I will just dress interview worthy and bring everything I might need just in case.  Better safe then sorry.  :cdn:

Well I asked "Is this only the CFAT and he said yes.  Who knows, so now i'm going to dress up for the interview but bring gym clothes. 

Well I just got the call to book the CFAT today.  It's all booked up and ready to go.  I was told to be there for 8:00am (7:30am).  I was told I should bring a lunch because it is not over until 1pm.  Just wondering what I will be doing for 5 hours?  :cdn: Thanks;

Well, I just got a hold of the person in charge of the applications and all that stuff, and he said mine was also in a pile but said he would enter it into the system and get my apptitude appointment before the end of the week.  I guess you need to ask them to get the ball rolling sometimes.  :cdn:

Damn it.  That's no good.  They were the ones that told me that through, they told me to give them a ring by the 9th of september.  They also said if I didn't hear anything by tomorrow after leaving a message I have to phone a Sgt with the 48th Highlanders and he will get it moving for me.  Who...

I am still waiting for my call for interviews and all that.  I phoned last Friday and left a message but I have not got a phone call back yet.  I guess they are busy.  If I do get the call and don't crap out on any of the process, I might be able to start in November.

Thanks for the advice.  The thing is; even when I am employed full time, fire fighters still only work 150 days a year so I will have plenty of time to do both. And yes I'm talking about the reserves with the 48th.  :cdn:

One thing I have noticed (which is irritating) is I know someone in the reserves that smoked pot casualy but stopped 3 months before his interview/phyical.  He told them that he tried it maybe twice and lied about doing it so soon before the interview and he got through fine.  Does the interview...

Well,  I plan on telling the truth about what I have done in the past.  I have not smoked pot in 2 years (ever since I got serious about graduating college and wanting to become a fire fighter/army reservist).  I am guessing that if I tell them that they should be fine with it.
