Rick (Master Crayon Eater) on choosing your political horse

Thanks. Keep in mind these are just my opinions. Others have equally valid opinions.

CAF MP SUES DND AND SIG SAUER

Yes, that is my understanding. Since the MPs need to carry with a round chambered, they need to do holster drills that way, too. I guess.

Rick (Master Crayon Eater) on choosing your political horse

Trump was not a particular concern for as it related to either Mark Carney or Pierre Poilievre. I did not believe the PP=Trump junior hype then and I believe we would be in much the same spot vis the US regardless of a Liberal or Conservative Govt. I generally like where Carney is going with...

    Top Gun 2 (and 3?)

That is the other way- he gets flag rank as a result of the last movie. But how he still flies (logically) is beyond me. Just as long as Jennifer Connelly comes back, I am good…

    Top Gun 2 (and 3?)

There is a real risk of pushing this one sequel, too far. I would think that the only way to pull this off is to have Pete Mitchell (Maverick) retired from the USN and working as a contractor, somehow, to save the world.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

That does not include me. I have always tried to treat you with respect, even though I sometimes disagree with your opinions. Lower your elbows and drop the ad hominem.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Don’t be an ass. You have a terrible reputation on this forum already for your arrogance and doggedness to score rhetorical points- often impolitely. My point, which stands, is that in some places in Canada it is still possible to live cheaply. I did not think that statement required the...

CAF News in regards to PR applicants

Just a note- if you are in the CAF as a PR, if the CAF sends you out of Canada on duty, those days do not count against your 3 years.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

I think it is possible in some rural areas of Canada.

Seniors Benefits Discussion- split from Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

You don’t pay into OAS (directly). It is from general revenues. Which is worse.

    ATF Loses more Teeth

Bo and Luke have lost their plot armour….

    ATF Loses more Teeth

Well, that ruins the plot motivation of about 25% of all Hollywood movies.

    Pipelines, energy and natural resources

I like what Edison Motors is doing in the big truck space. https://edisonmotors.ca/ If they can scale, that is a huge market.

YTZ - I saw your thumbs up. This is clearly your area of interest, based on previous posts. I would be interested in your thoughts.

    Pipelines, energy and natural resources

I have always believed that the cure for high prices is high prices. The current unpleasantness in Straits of Hormuz will likely create demand for petroleum supply creation in other parts of the world. But I also wonder if it might not create some permanent demand destruction? Unlike 1973...

    Laser Comms

Again, not crapping on your initiative, but you also have to war game out what your opponent can do to detect you.

    Laser Comms

I am not trying to crap on your initiative. I just recall that decades ago, the Artillery tried to develop a system called GACS with Beacon On (gun alignment system) that used a system of lasers to pass both gun alignment and fire orders on the gun position with using radios or laying line...
