I have reread my comment about Inland and what I said. It does sound like I know everything, which I don't. My bad. It was more a rant about why we need a Border Patrol then it was actual facts.
Having said that. I speak from what I hear about it from a friend in PREC and a superintendent who...
Inland is a reactive not proactive unit. With out getting to confusing, all CBSA officers have the authority to operate within Canada. Management just makes certain "positions" that they allow to work inland, then they tell the rest of us that we can't enforce laws inland. It is a way for them...
If you choose one of the boxes bellow the crazy map on the home screen like "Amber Alert Map" or "Gang Activity Map" it cleans things up alot and lets you put the mouse cursor over an incident to read the heading, then you can scroll down to get details. Hope that helps.
Hey guys and gals, I was shown this website the other day and thought it was worthy of a mention here. I don't know how accurate it is but a neat idea nonetheless. :salute:

what happens in Montreal stays in Montreal ;D Wait, I mean, ummm I was practicing Pil and CDT on the weekend not travelling to Montreal
In all seriousness though I cannot recall being told or instructed on what to give in regards to information (which is why I asked), other than when...
AmmoTech90,
First of all, as unprofessional as it may sound, I don't really care for a group of individuals who go around video taping law enforcement because they think that we are out doing dirty work for "big brother." Notice how right after I mentioned that on my last post I added we should...
Well put. I guess in the long run it doesn't matter if they have my name. I was just curious because one of the "legal observers" tells the Officer that he legally has to give him his Badge # and name.
Hey MedTech, yes I'm marine...for now. That was a good explanation. It amazes me that these "legal observers" don't do more home work. I mean if I devoted my life to harassing law enforcement I would do some research into the departments at least.
People wrongly assume that because we are...
As you can tell by my name I'm a very anti-monarchy ;)
I don't see why we would change everything so we could have some elected official as our head of state. Prime Ministers divide the country because of political beliefs, the Crown is a rally point for all of Canada as it not political and...
Look out! Someone has let CBSA loose out onto the streets, how did they manage to escape from the Border? :P

Hi MPLat,
I wish I could go back and delete some posts, some of the stuff I have wrote on here makes me shake my head now that I'm BSO but I digress.
My story is I applied for a student position after being deferred from the RCMP, I wrote the test to be a student BSO and passed in march of...
I came across this little gem the other day on the Customs&Immigration Union site. I'm not familiar with this incident, but it appears the officers attempted to pursue this individual and then got "talked to" the next day by management. any bso's on here who know the story, pm me please. Always...
