I think a key step in general preparedness would be to not send untold billions to Ukraine (though they can keep Freeland) and instead invest those billions in CAF recruitment and training.
I don't imagine Greenland would want "a couple multinational batallions" of EU soldiers in Greenland. Not least because the EU would, if current practice is any measure, immediately demand that Greenland then import several thousand Afghan and Syrian refugees.
I'm looking to join the Reserves as either a Weapons Tech or Mobile Support Equipment Operator - wondering if anyone in those roles can offer any insight into what they are like day-to-day and how much you like your role. Third option is Construction Tech.

I generally get a response when I do that at least. I've been told it can take 18 months to 2 years so...

I began the process approximately a year ago. CFAT, medical, and interview all done. I assume I am somewhere in the background check stage.
Haven't checked in with them since December but I will likely email this week to see where we are at.

I can't share anything specific about the CFAT (we aren't allowed to) but if you are doing the online tests, or one of the CFAT test books available on Amazon then you will be well prepared. It's basically that stuff.

That is very much the reality - despite some of the (disappointing) gloating on this site over people getting heavy prison sentences for saying (very) stupid things.
And, yes, mostly just those who are opposed to the government are getting this treatment. There is no real balance there.
I would say best call during office hours - or better yet, email. That way you don't catch them by surprise, and they may take a look at your file and give you a more useful, considerered response/steps to be taken or whatever.

I think you don't really understand the political system in the UK. Only two parties can realistically hope to form a government: Labour or the Tories.
There are other parties on the peripheries, two of the more significant being the Liberal Democrats and the brand new Reform party.
