I was told today that I am not eligible for Top Secret Clearance and offered to explore other options in the Army Reserve if I wish to proceed as an officer candidate.
Apparently, according to my recruiter, the longer you stay in Canada the faster the process is going to take. Best of luck. I am in the process also and I stayed in the US for about five years prior.
Sorry to clarify, a Lvl 2 or 3 is what happens during the pre-screening depending on the trade. For folks who don't require a pre-screening this step is usually done after enrolment.

I don't really know, though my recruiter has told me between 6 months to 1 year and a half. I have been here for five years and spent another five in the US pior.
