Just to clarify, my security clearance is still ongoing. I was told a month ago that it was decided that I no longer needed to wait for the clearance to move forward in the process.
For context I started the application as PR (14 years in Canada, moved when I was 18 years old, with visits no longer than a month to my home country or the USA. Last visit to my country in 2016 and became citizen in April, 2024).

Got a mail this week to tell me that i can book my enrolment even if my security was not final approved, all steps are completed but i was waiting for security clearance since august 2.

So I imagine they got new instructions from government maybe ?

All being said, I have my enrolment next week, and the mail mention that a BMQ during winter was potentially possible, we’ll see.
