Wow nearly a year since I joined this outfit aka the army lol.  I survived St. Jean, Farnham and Borden! I'm now at my first posting and loving it...the job is great once you get the hang of it.  But I suppose that depends on the unit they send you to lol.  Going thru all the training then...

Thanks for the reply Otis! I am currently in Edmonton so will be leaving my vehicle out here.  If I get sent to Borden right away that will be just fine with me.  I was wondering about the SQ courses as it didn't have that listed on my job sheet... which makes sense as a purple trade I could...

Well it sounds like that would be a job long in my future LOL.  Not sure what Chapeski meant then.  I know I have asked this before and never received a response... but does anyone know when the next Supply Tech MOC course will be run in Borden? I only ask because I need to make arrangements...

I realize you wrote this a while ago now but I finally got around to figuring out what POL and CQMS meant! LOL I am still a little confused as to what a CQMS does and wondering if that would even apply to me when I become a private? I do realize its being in charge of supply but I guess I don't...

I'm flying out Feb 20th to St Jean and start basic on Feb 22nd as a Supply Tech.  Can't wait!!!

Does anyone know when the next MOC training is for Sup Tech? Presuming I make it all the way thru my basic training... I will graduate on May 27,2010.  So just wondering if there is a course running soon after that in Borden?

Actually I never even thought about the cost involved with being moved... good point! Yes it wouldn't be the end of the world getting stuck here longer I suppose.  It just would have been nice to be closer to my family but as the saying goes "beggars can't be choosers!"

I am going in as an Army Supply Tech.  RMS Clk was actually my second choice LOL!! Just know you can always switch trades later on if the job you wants opens up and your current job isn't screaming for people.  Being you also picked a purple trade what uniform did you choose? Yes I think we...
