Honestly im most upset that the AB gov is intervening for the separatists. My tax dollars are paying government lawyers to argue a referendum on leaving Canada should be allowed to happen. That doesnt sit right with me

People also don't understand that legally its different not just because of the clarity act. Quebec was an entity that joined confederation, Alberta was created by an act of parliment. Theres a lot of small legal differences in position but now even quebec would have a hard tine seperating too
agree on firearms, however on spending, many are focused in on just this year or spinning the total spending planned over the next 4. If you look at the long term plan, spending isnt increasing, its decreasing. The biggest programs are all major infrastructure etc, not to mention hiking defense...

I suspect any more floor crossers he is courting are people he believes will actually bring benefit to the team, not just crossing to give him a majority. I anticipate a cabinet shuffle once the by-elections are done for his majority team
