I know I posted something a while back about trying to splice the Comtac II's into the
vehicles or 521's or 522's.
I have done it. I have the schematics and needed diagrams if you want.
I can also supply you with the actual PTT that links a standard NATO plugged headset into
the TCCCS system...
Both would be nice.
What I really need at the moment, is the wiring between the headset and the PTT.
The wiring between the PTT and the radio connection is gravy.
Thanks.
Bringing my own post back from the dead.
Any LCIS tech's out there that can help me out with a schematic of the wiring for the Veh Mount 522?
I've spliced the PTT that supports Intercom and Radio into a standard NATO plug, but I can't get the headset to work. I've got the transmit down, I just...
I hope I'm posting this in the right area.
I was wondering if anyone has the wiring pin-out and tech specs of the new vehicle headsets that are used in the TCCCS. I need the difference in impedence between intercom and radio and how the downleads are wired. If anyone has that sort of...
Haha. Absolutely. But in anycase, clerks are always swamped with work... and i'd imagine it'd be quite easy for someone to get bumped to the bottom of the never ending queue.
My main point is, I have a LOT of respect for clerks. Especially under staffed OR's.... oh wait, that's almost every OR...
Thanks 284_226! I'm think that's what I'm looking for. To get the member to release their information to themselves.
From my understanding, the reason why it's so convoluted, is because the Supp. Res. isn't an actual unit. Therefore they don't have clerks or an OR. From what I've read/seen...
Thanks for all the great replies. We've already got a VFS in, but we need the persons pers files in our OR. I just need the form so that the person transferring can fill it out.
I know that we can't get to that information without his signature and authorization. I was just looking to see if...
Thanks, but I don't think that's what I need. I'm trying to access someone's pers files from the archives because he's from the Supp. Res. I need to fill out a Freedom of Information form which I then forward to NDHQ who will then release the pers info that I need.
Does that help out? Or still...
Hi there all,
I was just wondering if any clerks out there had any info on a "Freedom of Information Form." I've looked on the DFC and I've come up empty. Even just a form # or a NSN would be great. Thanks.

I just saw this music video, and I thought it was really well done. Lyrics are full of meaning and I haven't seen anything like this about Canadian soldiers.

Wow, the equipment forum here pretty dead... not too much kit buying going on eh? Well, in anycase, just wondering what kind of stuff is typically aftermarket for a Cdn soldier. I hear a whole lot of debate about people buying their own kit and all, but what are people running over in the sand...
Actually, PSP makes a whole lotta gucci/secret squirrel kit... but they don't make the TV. Fellfab does. It would be a discredit to the PSP name for them to be associated with the TV. Maybe they did the initial design, and then CTS tore it all apart before giving it to Fellfab to manufacture...
The stuff that that US soldier is wearing is what we're issued. Only difference is that in the Cdn issue version we don't get the yellow "night" lens. We only have the smoke tint and clear lenses. Also, the Cdn issue Revision Sawfly frames are OD while the commercial version has a black frame...
I have almost two years in and my QM still won't give me my DEU's because I'm not DP1 qualified. Supposidly your year in is the ticket... but who knows.
I inquired about ordering my DEU's from Logistik but was told initial issue was suppose to be from your unit. Again, I'm not sure... alas...
So i've been fishing around on the net for pouches to add to my plate carrier and have found the EMDOM CQB (http://stores.skipjack.com/emdomusa/Detail.bok?no=29) line of pouches to be really functional. For full description n all, head off to the link. They've got tons of info about the pouches...
