Heart of Oak isn’t actually disappearing though. It’s been incorporated into the RCN’s new general salute. Personally, I think this is the best result. It allows us to recognise our past while opening the possibility of creating a more distinct culturally relevant identity through the adoption...
Hello,
This is the worst way to communicate because it doesn't really send notifications anywhere. If you'd like to talk more, I can be found on Facebook, or at [email protected]. I'd be interested in knowing what other information you have.
Cheers
silly question. Is the old jacket not still THE jacket? I thought the new thing with all the pockets was a shirt? I kept both of mine because i thought they were going to carry over.
I honestly regret switching. I liked the look and feel of the old NCD's better. And frankly, the lack of pockets made me feel less stupid about the amount of time it took to check myself over if something went missing.
I don't know if this is helpful information, but I work at a CFAD in my day job and we can't issue tracer to a couple of ranges due to the risk of brush fires. I can ask tomorrow for the specifics if you'd like.

Logistik Unicorp has available (in my opinion) a poor quality, ill fitting, plain black ball cap for issue to sea cadets. I feel like it's a slippery slope to request that stuff up from Logistik. At least the private purchase ones on the west coast were comfortable.
if this is still the case, it is only applicable to Dockyard Workers as they have separate unions on both coasts that negotiate for them separate from PSAC. The remainder of the public service fought long and hard to insure that equal work was paid equal wages in the mid 2000's. I started as a...
It's not an allowed order of dress for naval officers. from https://www.canada.ca/en/services/defence/caf/military-identity-system/dress-manual/chapter-5/annex-c.html:
Sweaters. No. 3C order of dress:
Nothing shall be sewn on the sweater; the Remembrance Day poppy may be pinned to the sweater...
what happened to the pack covers we issued in Afghanistan? I worked in clothing stores at KAF and we had tri-walls full of arid covers, like the old winter white ones, that more or less elasticed around the pack and hid everything except for the straps. Same thing for the camel back, except that...
Didn't Bernard Montgomery set up regimental brothels to some success? We went back to pips and crowns, pearl grey, and the executive curl, there's very clearly a precedent for sex workers.
It depends on the course. HIE 208 consisted of three essays and a weekly discussion. BAE 238 was one group assignment, weekly discussions and an exam. I would say I read for a bout three hours a week per course.
